And a woman divorced

מֵאִישָׁהּ

From her man (husband)

לֹא יִקָּחוּ

They cannot take

כִּי־קָדֹשׁ הוּא

Because he his holy

לֵאלֹקָיו:

To his G-d

וְקִדַּשְׁתּוֹ

And you should make him holy

כִּי־אֶת־לֶחֶם אֱלֹקֶיךָ

הוּא מַקְרִיב

He brings (as a korban)

קָדשׁ יִהְיֶה־לָּךְ

He should be holy to you

כִּי קָדוֹשׁ אֲנִי ה’

מְקַדִּשְׁכֶם:

וּבַת אִישׁ כֹּהֵן

And the daughter of a kohen

כִּי תֵחֵל לִזְנוֹת

When she strays and marries improperly

אֶת־אָבִיהָ הִיא מְחַלֶּלֶת

She disgraces her father

בָּאֵשׁ תִּשָּׂרֵף:

She should be burnt in fire

וְהַכֹּהֵן

And the kohen

הַגָּדוֹל מֵאֶחָיו

That is greater than his brother

אֲשֶׁר־יוּצַק עַל־רֹאשׁוֹ

That it was poured on his head

שֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה

The anointing oil

וּמִלֵּא אֶת־יָדוֹ

And he takes responsibility

לִלְבֹּשׁ אֶת־הַבְּגָדִים

To wear the clothing

אֶת־רֹאשׁוֹ לֹא יִפְרָע
